We’re so so lucky to shoot weddings like these where all the people involved are so lovely and the couple getting married are so cool and so in love. It makes our job so much easier! Deb & Mike’s wedding was an altogether awesome day and Durban gave us it’s usual warm and perfect weather. The girls got ready at Deb’s family home in Ballito, it was such a chilled morning of tea-making, nail painting and sea gazing, we even had a whole school of dolphins swim by to give us a wave of good luck. After a long morning of preparation we drove through to the beautiful and charming St Mary’s Chapel where Mike and a whole room full of people waited for the bridal parties arrival. The whole ceremony was incredibly special and sincere, these two have a such a solid foundation for their marriage and life ahead i’m so excited for them and I hardly know them. The rest of the day was all about balloons, bikes & having fun. We headed to the busy promenade for some fun shots and even though we were losing light rapidly we managed to snap some beautiful pictures before heading to the reception.
As you can see, the reception was so pretty awesome too, in such a lovely courtyard restaurant called Market. People also really got into the photobooth! To see the full photo booth, see the previous post!
