Garreth & Laurelle

We’ve shot quite a few weddings in the Maboneng Precinct and it’s different every time we go there. Buildings are always changing, the street art is always different but this wedding blew “different” completely out of the water.

Laurelle & Garreth closed off a side street, in front of what now is MOAD (Museum of African Design), and had their ceremony in the street. We loved everything about it. The guests arriving in Tuk tuks, the sounds of the city in the background and new buildings to explore. L & G were so great to work with and didn’t mind climbing rooftops and ladders to get the right shots.

Their reception was also something incredible. Imagine a massive warehouse with looong tables full of family and friends. Good food, good music, fire dancers and capoeira!

We had so much fun! L & G thank you for letting us be a part of your extraordinary day!

After a few more couple photographs, the reception started with Jazz, cold beers and lots of dancing and laughing. We had so much fun M&J, thanks for letting us be part of such a cool day, we have no doubt you are going to have a strong and beautiful marriage.
